Your cat can tweet
I bet you never thought that your cat could tweet. This day has in fact arrived. Sony has developed a nifty device that can track your cat’s activities via Twitter. Your cat doesn’t actually tweet but the device will send out its own tweets when your cat is sleeping, eating, or on the move. It is also equipped with a camera and GPS. Kind of cool if you ask me.
Faxing, Twitter, Old People
Fax to Twitter service helps older people Tweet. Its kind of like an instant old fashioned 160 character letter for people who refuse to type. I can see how this might be good for someone without a computer…but seriously, who doesn’t have a computer these days? Get grandma a computer for Christmas so she can Tweet the right way already.
Twitter in Tampa
Dom Sagolla said “why not” back in the day when Twitter was first started, the very first tweets were sent, and before the micro blogging system soon boasted millions. He is Twitter’s #8. As he explains, Twiiter is a micro blogging system where you can send updates to your followers about what you are doing, share your opinion, or even ask were the best restaurant is. Be careful, don’t become a Tweeter! Watch the video below for details:
Twitter Twitter

Do you Twitter? I’m new to the whole concept and still can’t seem to get the hang of it. I understand it can be a great promotional tool as well as an easy way to stay in contact with your friends.
Here is the problem: I know very few people on Twitter. I guess it would be much more excited to have several followers, all craving to see what you write next. In a way, it’s a very personal micro blogging system. I’m not sure if I’m going to stick with it so here are 5 reasons (maybe to convince myself) to keep the tweets going:
1. Blog Promotion: Twitter is an easy way to promote your blog (or website) as you meet new peeps. Maybe even gain some fans along the way.
2. Buzz- Great way to generate buzz for a new post, contest, event, or story. Hopefully, some of those followers would be tempted to look.
3. Keep up with friends and family- Keep everyone updated on your status or track someone else’s status. Good way for family or friends to be in the know.
4. Breaking the ice- Meeting someone new..send them a tweet to break the ice.
5. Source of info- Stay updated on news, unique stories, and popular reads.
Are there any other Twitter reasons?
