Microsoft Courier

without comments

I haven’t been keeping up with the latest tech rumors like I should but I did run across the Microsoft Courier. I believe this is the coolest looking tablet gadget I have ever seen. If the product would hit shelves looking anywhere near what it does on the video below, I would have new found respect for Microsoft.

Whatcha think? I would buy it (considering it was reasonably priced). It would be great for bloggers.

Operating system, black and white

with one comment

Everyone flocks to Microsoft. I agree with @ Daring Fireball and his article about how all of the PC companies are stuck with Microsoft windows. [Ex. HP, Dell, Toshiba] That’s what makes Apple different, they produce hardware and the software operating system. I wonder what the computer world would be like if Dell, Toshiba, and HP all had their own version of an operating system? Think of the smart phone market currently. The computer world would be interesting if it modeled the smart phone world. Several different operating systems competing and constantly improving.

Twitter in Tampa

without comments

Dom Sagolla said “why not” back in the day when Twitter was first started, the very first tweets were sent, and before the micro blogging system soon boasted millions. He is Twitter’s #8. As he explains, Twiiter is a micro blogging system where you can send updates to your followers about what you are doing, share your opinion, or even ask were the best restaurant is. Be careful, don’t become a Tweeter! Watch the video below for details:

PayPerPost Love

without comments

I am a newbie to PayPerPost. I just joined last week and already find their system fascinating. If you don’t know who they are, let me explain. PayPerPost is a sponsored or paid posting site. Advertisers pay for you to write about them. Sounds cool huh? You income potential is unlimited as long as you follow their guidelines, have traffic, and don’t “over clutter” your blog(s) with ads.

I first heard about PayPerPost from another blogger. He wrote an article about making money with sponsored posts and I found it interesting. So I decided to check them out and sure enough, they are great!

I run a blog network called SizzlingSkillet. I wanted to implement some ads in with the normal posts to my network. Its a great way to gain extra revenue to invest back into my business. I eventually want to make enough money from each blog to support full time writers. That’s exactly what I will do with my PayPerPost income.

Sponsored blog reviews makes earning some extra income from your own blog easier. Its a way to improve your website from extra money and make new advertising relationships in the process. PayPerPost makes all of this possible and more. I named this entry PayPerPost love for a reason: I wanted to spread the love of what they offer so more people can get back some of what they have put into their blogs.

Tech Trends Tuesday: Flock Media Friendly Browser

without comments

I saw an ad for this, clicked it, and discovered Flock. For those of you who haven’t heard about it yet, Flock is an internet browser similar to Mozilla with amazing media/social/organizing capabilities. It will hold all of your accounts from Facebook to Youtube and even has a built in rss feed reader (very cool). It takes some playing around with at first, but simple to use. I use it and love it.

Tech Trends Tuesday: Free Legal P2P Music Site

with 5 comments

Qtrax

I discovered this application while blog surfing on Internet Grazing.

It’s the world first free P2P music site. From what I understand, this site is ad supported. Everyone gets paid and all is well. Almost seems almost hard to believe.

We’ll have to see the future of this application as it’s only in Beta at the moment. I personally tried it out and it looks promising. I couldn’t download any music, but I just figured it was too early for it to be fully functional. Something to keep an eye on in the tech world.
