Courier “Announced”
Was this a mistake or are they just fueling the fire. Microsoft announced the Courier on “accident” in their latest blog post on the official Microsoft Jobs Blog. You can view it now and you notice that everything Courier was mysteriously removed. Here is what it said before “editing”:
Do you already know everything about Project Natal and the Cloud? Is Blaise Aguera y Arcas’ jaw-dropping TED talk on augmented-reality Bing Maps and Photosynth last month’s news? Then check out some of the online chatter surrounding new releases of Window Phone 7 series handsets, Internet Explorer 9 and the upcoming Courier digital journal.
For those who have subscribed to their RSS feed in a reader they were able to see the cached post and behold.. the Courier announcement. Also, check out nearly all of the comments regarding the Courier and almost nothing about what they actually left on the post. Quite amusing none the less. Microsoft has caught the public eye once again. It will be interesting if they have anymore “mistakes” to drum up buzz. They know what they are doing.
Microsoft Courier Hurry
I have been all over the web searching for any new details about the rumored Microsoft Courier. They are creating quite the buzz from keeping their lips sealed and somehow “leaking” videos of it in action. Many online followers were even wondering if this groundbreaking gadget was too good to be true. I’m keeping my fingers crossed personally as this is one of those must haves for me. Come on Microsoft!!
Microsoft Courier
I haven’t been keeping up with the latest tech rumors like I should but I did run across the Microsoft Courier. I believe this is the coolest looking tablet gadget I have ever seen. If the product would hit shelves looking anywhere near what it does on the video below, I would have new found respect for Microsoft.
Whatcha think? I would buy it (considering it was reasonably priced). It would be great for bloggers.
Operating system, black and white
Everyone flocks to Microsoft. I agree with @ Daring Fireball and his article about how all of the PC companies are stuck with Microsoft windows. [Ex. HP, Dell, Toshiba] That’s what makes Apple different, they produce hardware and the software operating system. I wonder what the computer world would be like if Dell, Toshiba, and HP all had their own version of an operating system? Think of the smart phone market currently. The computer world would be interesting if it modeled the smart phone world. Several different operating systems competing and constantly improving.
