Tampa Bay Mystery Monkey
Sightings of this illusive run-away creature have been the talk of the town over the last year. While he has been living on fruit from residents back yards and trash, he has evaded authorities, was darted in a tree, passed out, re-awaken and back to his monkey shenanigans. This little guys wants to be free and will be darned if he is caught. After all, he is an Internet sensation with his own Facebook page and more recently has gone national all over the news circuit. You can even purchase a tee-shirt of this mysterious run away monkey and 5% of the purchase will go to the local animal sanctuary. Oh and by the way, make sure you keep up with mystery monkey’s latest tweets! Become a Facebook fan and support his freedom!
Annoying Facebook personalities
I found this article to be amusing yet true. To those pesky Facebook users out there who fall under these categories please take a hint. We have the ‘add as many friends as we can’ user along with the ‘dramatic status updater’ user. Perhaps they aren’t as annoying as the ‘self promoting’ user. Yes, we all know one of those. The user we never want to think about especially for you ladies is the “stalker”. The guy who looks at your profile in the anonymity of Facebook land constantly keeping track of your every move.
Facebook “Selling” User Data
It has been announced that Facebook will begin selling some user data to businesses wanting market research. This idea isn’t half bad and it is not a plan to sell “personal” data. Market research should be, if done correctly, done with no personal identifiers. Select users will get ads that appeal to them and if they interact with that ad, it will be shared in the news section for friends to read. That’s what I understand from their new system.
