Final Crash
My desktop computer finally succumbed to a virus attack and crashed today. Most of the features are unusable and an alert pops up in the background warning of spyware. System restore I useless at it states there are no restore points. I think it has come down to deleting the hard drive and installing a new copy of Windows.
While I’m at it, I might try Linux again. I experimented with it once before and it ended up locking itself with a bug. I’m assuming the build is much better now. (Linux Ubuntu) Anyone else recomend another version?

Well, first, you need to take steps in order to ensure your computer is well protected. I am and have ran windows products since XP came out and have never encountered too many problems. You have to be proactive with how you set up your security. There are many web sites on the internet that detail how to keep yourself protected.
As for what version of Linux to use, I am not very familiar with it, BUT i hear that the latest Ubuntu is easier to install and setup than windows, so do some searching on that.
I wish you luck, but if you are still using the same computer you were using last time I saw it, you DEF need to upgrade it or buy a new one entirely lol.
