Sometimes I think common sense is dead in America. This doesn’t go out to everyone, but just the thousands who follow mindlessly without having an ounce of a core value. I’m talking about political issues or better yet, imperative issues we face in this nation currently. All too often I see people argue points that someone else has set. That someone being a celebrity, parent, teacher, or in the big media cash cow.

I know its tough. Thinking for yourself isn’t always easy. But please America, lets follow our own core values and beliefs. This might lead America back to common sense thinking. Celebrities, media moguls, and politicians don’t always have America’s best interests in mind. Shock?

So, what can we do?

Think about political issues, solutions, and promises for yourself. What is best for America in the long term? How much will it cost? Does this match up to anything similar previously done in world history? Does this coincide with what I [the individual] believe is best….don’t know? Do more research. Oh and don’t forget to have friendly, common sense debate with friends, family, and well… just about everyone.
