Want to be an ethical hacker?

without comments

I think one of the coolest jobs would be combating cyber crime as an ethical hacker. Just think, doing what you love while figuring out the puzzle of security issues would be a one of a kind job. Some colleges offer ethical training classes but I stumbled across an online site offering IT Security training on your schedule from the comfort of your computer. Ethical Hacking is basically hacking while working for the “good guys”. Think of it as the super hero of the internet world fighting bad or unethical hackers for technology companies. As our world keeps getting more computer based and technologically advanced, demand rises accordingly for security professionals to keep systems secure. Not to mention, a salary of 80,000 according to payscale.com. Your role as a Certified Ethical Hacker would be to legally hack into or attack the company’s database you are working for and that then brings the security issues forward to be fixed. See, hackers are always and will always be trying to find new techniques to steal information and invade privacy. It would be your job to stay one step ahead of the curve. iClass holds a 5 day course that will be online and instructor led. You will have to do some self study of course, but they will provide you with the tools you need that fit your schedule. iClass offers the following:

Security Fundamentals
Ethical Hacking
Penetration Testing
Computer Forensics
Disaster Recovery
Secure Programming

Take a look into this exciting field and lets turn the table on cyber criminal behavior.

Breaking News: Obama got a dog

without comments

Is anybody else on the verge of banging their foreheads against a wall because of the USELESS information about the Obama family? I mean honestly, as if our news isn’t informative enough (note the heavy sarcasm), they bombart us with stories (rather long stories too!) on what designers the family is wearing and what dog they are getting. I can only imagine what the news stations talk about in their meetings.

Of course, why in the world would the nation in crisis actually be looking for substance in their news. Substance such as news on bailouts or tax cuts, you know the boring stuff as so clearly considered by the big news reps because they have no faith that our brains can handle more than finding out what breed the new White House dog is.

The sad part is, it actually created arguments and comments amongs the audience! So maybe I’m wasting my time sharing this because as idiotic as I hope the rest of you see this, some people actually consider the breed of that dog something to think about for longer than 2 seconds.

I think we can all agree that even if you’re an American Kennel Club enthusiast, Obama’s choice in a dog doesn’t come remotely close to affecting any major political decision made by him, so it can be a mut for all I care. Unless you can give me some scientific research that proves a variety of breeds having some effect on their owner’s decisions, please do go out of your way, news stations, to bore me to death with relevant information concerning this nations future.

Thank you so very much.

Tea Party anyone?

without comments

People around the country are holding symbolic tea parties to protest unnecessary spending and taxing in Washington. Personally, I don’t agree with most of the bailouts. Any tea parties in your area? Organize one! For more information check it out.
