Hamster a murder suspect
A Connecticut news channel accidentally makes hamster a murder suspect. While reporting on the story the news channel was supposed to flash a photo of the real suspect. Instead, they show this innocent little hamster. Quite embarrassing. What are they doing with hamster photos anyway?
Awareness Teen Date Violence
Unfortunately, dating violence among teens is not something most people are aware of let alone domestic violence itself. About 1 in every 5 teens say they have been hit or pushed in a relationship and even more go unreported. The bottom line is, bring this issue out and make society more aware. Teens need to know that any kind of violence, verbal abuse, or abuse of any kind is wrong.
Facebook “Selling” User Data
It has been announced that Facebook will begin selling some user data to businesses wanting market research. This idea isn’t half bad and it is not a plan to sell “personal” data. Market research should be, if done correctly, done with no personal identifiers. Select users will get ads that appeal to them and if they interact with that ad, it will be shared in the news section for friends to read. That’s what I understand from their new system.
